Life on lifes terms, that’s the reality that we face
Problems just don’t vanish into thin air without a trace
Got an issue that arises, talkings a good way to deal
Like a wound that needs to be taken care of to heal
It’s a blessing today, the ability to feel
Happiness, pain, joy, each and every emotion
I choose to let them in today, there aint a magic potion
Used to numb those feelings, make them go away
Now im happy I get to experience them, that theyre here to stay
Like tools in my box, glad to have different ways of growing
Aint gotta be sly like a fox, Im emotional, this recovery is showing
Selfish are my motives, writing is Danny time
Its to you they are devoted, whoever needs this rhyme
Express yourself, be comfortable being you
Shave all your hair off, go get a new tattoo
That inner light, that peace, let it shine through

Cant fret about the mystery in which we call tomorrow
